In some ways, I prefer it to the original Thrawn series Legends Never Die John Prine 1946 2020 Thank You For The Memories Signature Shirt as there is a bit less of the seeing how it’s falling apart going on as he has slightly better separation between the two sides of the story. Also there is more at risk as you don’t know which, if any of the characters are going to survive so the stakes are higher. The obelisks were exceptionally cool, and I really enjoyed Bane’s evolution and his apprentice, Zannah. The book also made me understand Dooku’s lightsaber construction and why the hook was at the end of his hilt.

If you read the Jedi Academy series, you’ll notice Legends Never Die John Prine 1946 2020 Thank You For The Memories Signature Shirt that there are parts that the books overlap. One of the characters visits the academy and is part of what goes on there for a short while and this is also reflected in the other book too. I enjoyed the aspects of Death Troopers. The book becomes a lot less enjoyable for me after a certain character or two make an appearance though. I think it would have been beneficial for the book not to rely on them showing up. But that’s just my take. Still enjoyed it for the most part
