They knew enough that transgender people generally have an EXTREMELY high suicide rate since no one really accepts us as our preferred gender, even within the LGBT + community we get hate. So they spent a solid 2 years terrified id end up like my brother (or just murdered). Just took them a while to simmer down and realize with their support and love I won’t be mentally in a place that I would want to. I’ll bet they’re happy you’re just trans and not dead.

They were miserable before, and nothing helped. All a parent wants is to help their child. Mine came out and is so much happier! And all I had to do was allow them to be who they are. Well, not EVERY parent wants to help their child. Not EVERY parent only wants their child happy. Just keeping things in perspective here. I have a narcissistic mother who cares more about herself than her children.
