I’ve listened to a few Star Wars audiobooks, are the Thrawn trilogy Ghost Check Your Boooooobs Mine Tried To Kill Me Sunset Cancer Awareness Halloween Shirt productions with sound effects and music and multiple voice actors? Those were always my favorite types of audiobooks, or audio dramas I think they were often called. All of the Star Wars audiobooks are amazing. That man can manipulate his voice to so accurately reflect the known voice characters, and so dynamically to differentiate between the other characters, it’s astounding everyone I know who has read these books is like but why wouldn’t you use this material, why would you just remake the 4th movie?

I know I loved it. I really wish Disney just took that entire storyline Ghost Check Your Boooooobs Mine Tried To Kill Me Sunset Cancer Awareness Halloween Shirt and tweaked it to make sense on their timeline. Obviously Luke, Han, and Leia would’ve been significantly older, but seeing Thrawn on the big screen would’ve been electric. As well as having Luke be married to Mara Jade and leader of the new Jedi order instead of being some old hermit afraid of the force. Why wouldn’t you use the lost fleet plot is so good. So in the third movie, they steal the lost fleet idea and don’t give Zahn credit. Rant did. Just further evidence of how many good characters there are in that trilogy.
