The Daria reboot is so weird to me. That was a show Chance The Rapper Chicago Teachers Union Tee Shirt very much of its time and I don’t think it’d work today. I don’t think people would get it. I mean, unless you’re in your late 30’s and up. They are making it focused on modern politics and Daria and the side character Daria was simply a good acquaintance with, Jodie, are the main characters (I.e. it’s going to tackle racism and sexism in a heavy-handed yet still corporate woke way). Its like they’re trying to go back and fix shit that doesn’t need to be fixed.

The sad irony is there an actual episode with Chance The Rapper Chicago Teachers Union Tee Shirt Jodie that tackles the idea of racial expectations around higher education. She and Mac were always pointing out weird racial shit in their lines/dialogue. I’ve read that it’s actually no longer a “co-lead” thing with Daria and Jodie. It’s just called Jodie now, not even sure how much Daria will be in it. It’s very strange to cut out a large majority of your viewership to focus on just one group. It really seems like they’re changing focus altogether. I’m not in CC’s analytics department.
