Alcohol in moderation is good, but following a handful E = MV2 Energy = My Coffee2 Vintage Shirt of relatively mild episodes when I was younger I decided I’d rather not go over my “limit”. Not only I don’t drink till I pass out or get sick, nowadays I don’t even drink to the point of getting a noticeable hangover the next day. In many people’s eyes, this is “boring” and “dull”, but I like being in control of my body and of my mind as much as I can. So I’m ok with not having ever tried drugs except ONE puff of a joint, didn’t care one bit for that, and with not being much of a social drinker anymore.

For me, the part of drinking that makes me happy is E = MV2 Energy = My Coffee2 Vintage Shirt being around other people extrovert here!. So yeah, in happier, less plague type times, I’d have a few drinks at the bar on a Friday, or stop for one drink if I got out of work early or something. But once I hit like 25, I stopped even liking the feeling of being drunk, so at 37, I definitely no longer see the appeal especially since I can’t go to the bar to socialize, I’ve got kids and just other things to do. I wouldn’t say I manage to be “happy” more like I can exist fine.
